The New West Course - Our Former Lakes Course Reimagined

What's New at PVGC

The ball has dropped and it’s officially 2019. You know what that means - new year, new…golf course! That’s right, if you feel like you’ve played all the golf courses in Phoenix, we've got something special for you. At Palm Valley Golf Club, now home to 27 holes of championship golf, we've launched a number of new changes for 2019, highlighted by our newly re-designed "West" Course. Appropriately located in the heart of the West Valley, it's more true than ever that Palm Valley Golf Club is a "must play" destination.

Our New "West Course" by Phil Mickelson Design

When you think Arizona golf, what comes to mind? Desert terrain and cacti perfectly complemented with rolling hills of lush green turf? Well look no further, because the renovated "West" Championship 9-hole course is your new desert oasis in the West Valley! Formerly known as the mid-length "Lakes" Course, the new West Course has been re-developed into a championship 9-hole layout. With 5 acres of new turf added and numerous lakes that bring water into play on 7 of the 9 holes, the new West Course is a great new golf experience in the Phoenix-area. With the redevelopment completed by Phil Mickelson Design and spearheaded by golf course architect, Mike Angus, it’s safe to say that championship golf has been taken to a whole new level at Palm Valley! We're excited for you to try this great new golf course in the West Valley.

Now There Are 3 Ways to Play 18-Holes at Palm Valley

Golfers are always looking for new golf experiences - for new challenges out on the course. Now with three 9-hole courses and 27 holes of championship golf, Palm Valley Golf Club offers three distinct ways to play 18 holes during your next visit. Our well-loved "Palms" Course has been split and renamed into the "North" and "South" courses. Our new "West" course matches the look, feel, & playing style of our North & South courses to complete the Championship golf experience. The new 3-course layout at Palm Valley presents new challenges that include lush rolling and side-winding fairways, lakes, and a parkland feel. We think these new course options make Palm Valley one of the best new golf courses in the West Valley and we welcome you to experience the "new" Palm Valley by booking a round at one of our new 3 18-hole layouts.

New Names. New Signage. New Experience.

With all the "new" at Palm Valley, our golf courses have a brand new look and our directionally-named, North, South, & West, courses at Palm Valley offer a brand new experience to enjoy the game of golf. Golf: The Perfect Compliment to Spring Training

PV spring training Blog
Each year, baseball fans from across the nation converge in the Phoenix area to enjoy the warm weather and to cheer on their favorite team as they prepare for the MLB season.  15 Major League teams host Spring Training in the Phoenix-area with a month-long schedule of exhibition games hosted all around the Valley. In 2017, Cactus League attendance set a new record with more than 1.9 million fans enjoying a Spring Training game, and with the sunshine, the smell of fresh cut grass, and the sounds of baseball, Arizona Spring Training is one of the best times of year to visit Phoenix.
For many visiting the Valley for Spring Training, their trip to Phoenix represents a chance to escape the cold weather of their hometown and to enjoy baseball in a unique atmosphere.  It’s no surprise that golf is often also on the list for Spring training fans, as they look to fill their trip schedules in-between Spring Training games.  Golf is the perfect compliment to Spring Training baseball as it allows fans to further enjoy the warm winter temperatures while fitting into their schedules. With most Cactus League games starting around 1pm, mornings present an excellent opportunity to get a round of golf in before heading to the game.
Due to it’s proximity to Goodyear Ballpark, Spring Training home to the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds, and Camelback Ranch, home to the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox, Palm Valley Golf Club is the ideal golf club to take full advantage of the Arizona sunshine with friends and family while visiting Phoenix.  Palm Valley offers 18 Holes of Championship golf on it’s Arthur Hills-designed Palms Course, a par 72 layout that covers 7,015 yards.
Palm Valley’s well appointed golf shop, practice facility, and Fairway Grille offer everything a Spring Training fan could need as they enjoy some golf with their baseball.  Rental clubs are available to fans not wanting to haul their clubs across the country or to those who decide last minute to take an unplanned 18-hole detour to Palm Valley.  Tee Times can be booked online up to 30 days in advance for those looking to lock in their Spring Training schedule.
For those visiting the Phoenix area for Spring Training, Palm Valley Golf Club is a must visit destination.  Make your Spring training trip complete by playing a round (or two) at the club regarded as a true gem of the West Valley, Palm Valley Golf Club.
Spring Training Tee Times may be booked online, or by calling (623) 935-2500, up to 30 days in advance
